The five Sections Pentagon, the five Sections community!

 

In the NAME of the three UZB original studbook-leading "Haflinger" breed organisations, the association of "Haflinger" horse breeding, the "five Sections Pentagon" of the breed, assumes the representation of breeding interests towards state-imposed interventions, as mediator.

The "five Sections Pentagon" of the horse breed "Haflinger" requires from the user the membership affiliation to the original studbook-leading organisation and their "breeding programmes". The breeding operation declaration, as "Section" and subsidiary studbook-leading association.

The "five Sections Pentagon" creates, representing the breed and country, the foal initial registration Certificate of Origin as affiliation certificates with the Alphanumeric Universal Equine Life Number (UELN) of the Haflinger breed "Section" in which the parents are registered, as proof of affiliation to this "Section", so that the foal rearing owner can apply for studbook admission as a breeding horse in this breed "Section". For breeding horses the foal affiliation certificate confirms the original origin, the breeding method and the selection breeding goal, the "suitability".

For rearing foals that are not registered as breeding horses, the foal affiliation certificate confirms the "origin" of the breed "Section" to which the foal belongs. Later breeding horse admission and registration in a Section of the breed organisations is possible.
